How hard can it be?
Turns out it's pretty hard.
Blogger has an "advanced template designer" that lets you customise the available templates. It's pretty powerful - but there are some elements I'd imagine were pretty basic features that just aren't there.
For example the ability to change the alignment of gadgets.
It is possible, but you've got to know some CSS to do it.
CSS? What's that?
Cascading style sheets.
If you really want to take control of your blogger template, you're going to need to learn a little CSS and you're going to need to learn how to inspect the code to identify the selectors in that code which affect the page elements you want changed.
